Sterling, VA --  “Cru Classic,” the glamorous new stemware by Fortessa/Schott Zwiesel, blends the qualities that, as the name implies, enhance the experience of vintage wines:  curving, beautifully-belled bowls, with ample capacity to allow swirling and releasing the wine’s flavor and aroma; tapered shapes to capture the bouquet; and slender, but sturdy stems. 

Styled with elegance, the new designs are made of Tritan® crystal, through a unique technology which produces a pure, hard, brilliant glass – with the added benefit of modest price.  The modern Cru Classic designs have a superb brilliance that shows off varietal color and clarity, contributing to the pleasure of fine wines.  And as all Tritan crystal, the stems are dishwasher-safe and highly resistant to breakage and chipping.
